What temperture should a 7.2 cubic foot freezer be at?

All freezers do one fixation--keep food frozen--no matter if its a big one or barely one.Storage times to keep food varies both with the ilk of food and the temperature>> for a example only lets say that you can keep a shirk frozen at zero degrees(0)for 3 months and it will still be proper to eat. Now we drop the temperature down to minus 20(-20F) and you can keep that bob for 9 months now. Do a search on the web for more info on this. Anyway--a wholesome starting temperature would be 0 deg.F min. or 5 below.

What are the pros and cons of a chest freezer lined with metal instead of one lined with plastic?

I'm inasmuch as buying a small chest freezer (7 cubic feet), but no salesman can give me a sunny answer on whether metal or plastic-lined is better. I've heard that metal-lined freezers gather up frost faster. Any thoughts?

Hello, my soften and I run cool room business (well he does I scan cards lol) and his opinion is as follows: Metal conducts spiritless, plastic does not. Therefore if the metal is not sealed appropriately it will 'frost over'. Also the life of the freezer may be lessened due to the incident metal rusts and plastic does not. Fictile allows longevity of appliance as apposed to metal that will rust.

I aspire this helps you make up your mind. Myself I would go for the plastic one as you will enjoy a much longer mortal of appliance.
