A while ago I pointed out that some of the best, most innovative tech of this year had come from white good rather than gadgets . One of those white goods was a coffee machine with a fingerprint reader. It caught our interest and so we got it in and gave it to a test team of lab rats - the Good Game production office. To balance things out we also gave them one of the latest Nespresso Latissima+ coffee makers.
The two machines we are discussing today are the DeLonghi Lattissima+ Nespresso Coffee Machine EN520R ($500ish) and the Philips Saeco Coffee Machine XELSIS-ID ($2600ish). Both essentially do the same thing - make a cup of coffee with frothy milk by just pressing a button. How big is the difference?
