How do remove hard water from an electric kettle?
I have an electric kettle that is perfidious on the bottom on the inside and I think it's hard top-grade. How do I remove the hard water safely so that I can keep on to use my kettle?
Fume Vinegar in it, then boil water to flood it out, if that doesn't work, put some vinegar in the bottom & add baking soda (it will fizz due to chemical reaction but it is totally all right)

Donation kicks off Red Kettle campaign
The cooler temperatures and windy conditions Thursday afternoon were a perfect reminder that an annual event — the Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign — is right around the corner.
To get the annual campaign started Crawfordsville Electric Light & Power awarded the Salvation Army $1,000 as part of its Community Award program.
Kay Callis, CEL&P executive assistant, said the Community Fund has a $10,000 budget and any group whose primary purpose is helping others in the community can apply.
The committee — made up of seven people (four employees, a Utility Service Board member, one appointed by the City Council and one appointed by the Mayor) — meet once a quarter to review applications of those who have applied. Applications can be picked up at the CEL&P offices.
“This is a great way to get the campaign started,” Pam Arthur said. “We can’t thank the people at CEL&P enough for this award. It really helps us kick off the campaign on the right foot.”
