OfficeMax store manager Terence Burke then presented her with flowers.
"I don't know what to say," she said.
"You say thank you," one of her students responded.

The national Adopt-A-Classroom program aims to end the practice of teachers paying out of pocket for classroom supplies. Representatives of the program and OfficeMax surprised teachers across the country on Tuesday with $1 million worth of school supplies.
McNeill said through tears that Sakai goes above and beyond, serving as webmaster of the school's website, initiating the chess club and presiding over the school advisory council.

Sakai cried as she stood in front of her second-grade class, in the middle of a lesson.
