when i purchased my home 13 years ago there was an old fashion, or vintage stove already hooked up .?
it is normal on those long curved legs it has an oven and 4 gas burners. I have looked all over the internet and have found garland stoves but not this ilk. it is white. i wonder if anyone knows how much this would be importance. this is in the basement by the way. the house is old and many areas have not been updated since the 40's or 50's.
There is a lot of dope available on the internet if you do the right searches. Many people hope for these old appliances and there are companies that buy, refurbish/resuscitate, and them resell them. A Yahoo search for "superior appliances" (include the citation marks in the Yahoo search box) will struggle lots of websites to check out. You should be expert to quickly learn the value of your stove as well as a lot about it's age and biography. Other searches to try would include "classic stoves", "vintage gas stoves", etc..
Satisfactory luck with your search for information.

Now that Halloween is behind us, it's time to start setting our sights on the next big holiday ... Thanksgiving ! It's one of my favorites, maybe because I love that the holiday fun spans four days. Or that there's nothing like a warm house filled with family and friends and yummy comfort foods. But before the actual day comes, there's much fun to be had from the lead-up and preparation alone -- especially if you're hosting family and friends for a Rockwellian turkey dinner (the best kind!).
