What is the difference between the different Kitchenaid stand mixer models?

I recently got a Kitchenaid Venerable Plus stand mixer (It is the cheapest one out on the market and is only to hand in white). I am happy with it so far, but I am wondering how this especially model will last in the long run. Does the wattage surely make that much of a difference? Will my model last as extended or as well as the more expensive or premium models?

For a stand mixer - wattage equals power.

Higher wattage motors will be competent to mix stiffer batters and doughs. There is a regulator in the Kitchenades that keeps the beater inspirational at a constant speed no matter how torturous your batter is - this makes the motor business harder.

It would be pretty difficult to get a mixer motor to throw out with normal kitchen use - but I have heard of it occurrence in commercial kitchens.

Which model of KitchenAid stand mixer is the best?

I wish for to get a KitchenAid stand mixer. I'm into baking and want to get the most out of it. Which model is the most desirable?

to get the drift which mixer you must buy, one should first take in consideration "in which items am I about slice and or dice, what dimensions must thy shredder hold?" Do you have a appropriate shelf for ones mixer and if so how much cord measure do thus need...in conclusion I feel you find what you are looking for upon concluding my conclusion. proper luck! (.)(.) My favorite things: Erin Davison-Rippey

What Erin Davison-Rippey, 29, who blogs at beaverdalehomestead.com, can't live without:

1. My KitchenAid stand mixer. I dont know how I lived without it everything is better with a mixer. It makes butter, whips up homemade marshmallows, and mixes all of my gluten-free batters and dough in the blink of an eye.

2. Rice cooker. Since Im gluten-intolerant, we eat a lot of rice, but I dont have the patience to baby-sit rice on the stove. With this, I just add water and rice (or other things like quinoa or buckwheat groats), and walk away.

3. Cowboy apron. Im notorious for making a mess in the kitchen, and this is my favorite way to protect my clothes when I'm cooking. It was a bridal shower gift, and just makes me feel extra sassy.

4. Local food sources. Farmers markets are an obvious choice (check out Beaverdales Farm Fest coming in 2012), but there are other great sources for locally grown, raised and produced food. My favorites are the Iowa Food Cooperative, Tallgrass Grocery Coop and Wallace Farms.

New Refrigeration System From KitchenAid Keeps Foods Fresher Longer

/PRNewswire/ -- For a cook, few things are more comforting and inspiring than a refrigerator full of fresh ingredients.  Unfortunately, time, nature and the proximity of one ingredient to another can quickly rob foods of their freshness, transfer flavors and aromas, and result in both frustration and waste.  With the introduction of its new Preserva™ Food Care System, KitchenAid has managed to slow nature's usual timetable significantly.

Available in four side-by-side configurations, and in French door models beginning early in 2012, the new technology utilizes three advanced features to optimize freshness.  First and foremost, a sequential dual evaporator system runs the refrigerator and freezer compartments independently, ensuring precise, consistent temperature and humidity management.  Second, the system's FreshFlow™ Produce Preserver absorbs the ethylene gas naturally produced by some fruits and vegetables – such as apples, onions, and bananas – to help delay over-ripening by up to 25%.  And finally, an advanced air filter with 15 times more odor-reducing power than baking soda continuously circulates and freshens air inside the refrigerator.
