Hi Katy,

I've had a Tassimo Coffee System for about three months and I absolutely love it!! It's such a discretion coming down the stairs in a morning with a smashing cup of coffee to look forward to.

I find the Tassimo easy to use and importantly, easy as pie to clean too. It's also very easy to but the Tassimo tdiscs that are what the coffee comes in.

When I bought my faction I was considering the Tassimo along with a couple of other machines. I after all decided after seeing the reviews at: http://www.premiergold.info/recommends/c offee-makers.html which convinced me of my preference. The links on that site also allowed me to get the gadget at a price cheaper than I'd seen anywhere else and the Tassimo was delivered to my door in upright three days.

I love my coffee maker and wouldn't hunger for to be without it. I'm sure you'll be the same Katy.

Will Tassimo T-Pods fit in a Keurig Coffee Maker?

I have a Keurig Coffee maker but I sweetheart Gevalia coffee and they only make Gevalia coffee in T-Pods for a Tassimo coffee maker my inquiry is will the t-pods still fit in my keurig?

No, the K-Cups are in toto different than the T-Pods and are not interchangeable. I'm not a big fan of these machines in habitual, but I think you're better off with what you have.

K-Cups are sealed away from air that ruins the preground coffee, so they drop as fresh as such a machine can be. T-Pods aren't sealed, so once you guileless the package the clock is ticking. If you requirement true Gevalia coffee flavor, get a french editorial writers, add boiling water, wait 3-4 minutes, and you'll have untrained, rich coffee no machine can duplicate. Otherwise, rightful stay with the Keurig.

SGA Corner

A proposed resolution to attempt to lift the band on one-cup coffee makers in the Hofstra University Residence Halls was at the center of an intense debate during the Student Government Association’s (SGA) weekly senate meeting on Tuesday night. The resolution, which was proposed by Senator Bryan Chess, stated that one-cup coffee makers, such as Keurig, Tassimo and Senseo do not have exposed heating elements and do not use excessive amounts of water. In addition, according to the resolution, the New York State fire code states that one-cup coffee makers do not pose a threat to fire safety.

Currently, the fine for having a one-cup coffee maker in the dorms is $100, according to Chess. Although it appeared none of the senators were against the ban being lifted, a few who are in close contact with the Office of Residential Programs believed that the resolution should not be brought to the Office because they are already attempting to lift the ban. These senators stated that this resolution could be taken negatively by the Office of Residential Programs, and suggested that SGA just let the Office resolve the issue. Other senators believed that the resolution would not insult Residential Programs, but instead encourage them to continue working to lift the ban. The resolution was passed 34-3-5.

Tim Guptill is a huge fan of the Keurig coffee maker. He has one at home and there's one at his workplace as well. It was a housewarming gift from his wife's boss. Each morning he will prepare a coffee called Rainforest Espresso, which he describes as a bold coffee flavour.

His wife, Gayla Guptill, prefers a French roast variety and both get what they want with this machine.

"It's the answer. It's the solution. I look at all of the people waiting to go through the drive-through at their favourite coffee shop and I think they could have had a better coffee for far less money. It runs about 55 to 60 cents a cup."

Guptill discovered this hot-beverage machine while he was visiting friends in Moncton. Because these beverages come in individual servings, everyone is able to enjoy whatever they want.

Once the reservoir of water is heated, users insert a K-Cup into the machine, place a mug under the spout, and press a button; within 20 to 60 seconds, a small, medium, or large cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate is prepared.
