Vinotheque...is their product any good?

No! reserve your money. I've had their cooling unit 4200 I ponder it was and it was always leaking, then began to ice shortly after owning after a unite of months. I called their customer maintenance 800 number and all they wanted to was retail my another product! Outrageous!
why on earth would i pine for to spend money on another piece of rubbish. I had one of my handy men who's a technician look into the can of worms for me and he said it was a terrible design innards everted. It looked like it was manufactured from a third exceptional country. There is a flaw in the design and when I called and tried to express one's opinion with the manager about this who is awful she sounds unschooled and uneducated, she said I should buy another product from some program. She was no assistant at all. So unless you want to spend 1000 or so every outdated a unit goes out, then yes go with their product. Ive went on other sites on the web and found that other people are experiencing the same problems leaking, fringe benefit. My technician found a leak in the coils which is a manufacturing tough nut to crack. It seems low rent.

Vinotheque lands Richards Walford deal

Fine wine importer Richards Walford & Company has awarded a new contract to Vinotheque, a subsidiary of UK wine and spirit logistics supplier London City Bond.

Under the contract, Vinotheque will store and distribute Richards Walford’s extensive range of wines from the logistics provider’s fine wine depot in Burton-on-Trent.

Richards Walford was established in 1982 to trade in wines from many of the top producers in France.

Since then its portfolio has expanded to cover Europe and beyond including South Africa, California, Australia and New Zealand.

Since 2001, the company has owned a vineyard in the Roussillon region in France.

Commenting on the contract, Timothy Le Druillenec, chief executive of Richards Walford, said: “Vinotheque has offered us the total logistics solution, combining comprehensive storage solutions for our wines in their state-of-the-art facilities, with an extensive transport network to deliver to our customers across the country.”

Diacetyl

Diacetyl is a blend formed during malolactic fermentation. This ‘fermentation’  (bacterial encounter in actuality) reduces the acidity of wine and gives nutty and caramel flavours to the wine. A lot of wines go through malo but sometimes the point of diacetyl is too serious and it can indeed moulder the wine imparting frantic buttery flavours. I am coming across this more regularly in Chablis these days. The buttery hint absolutely masks the leading fruit flavours of the wine. When faced with altered consciousness common acidity  some producers expect that the consumer will not get high on these wines therefore they cut back the acidity with malo and sometimes to the injury of the wine. Chablis is meant to have capital acidity as this is part of its configuration and turn to advantage. Unfortunately this is good another envelope of wine being dumbed down for the consumer and ruined for the mediocre.
