What is the diversity between these and where would i find wine coolers and what would they be called as i went to the store and saw coolers but when i bought them i realized they are flavored beer?
so get this, a lot of wine coolers don't as a matter of fact contain wine. they are made using unflavored beer as the strength alcohol... this is why most are labeled "malt beverage."
if you fancy a real "wine" cooler, at best buy a cheap bottle of dessert wine and mix a few ounces with some some ginger ale or union soda.

You can get everything you need to make dinner in a New York grocery store, but not the wine to go with it. This is not because grocers are puritanical. They sell beer, wine coolers (a misperceived brew made with malt) and a sugary low-alcohol “wine product.” You might think it’s wine, but drink it and you will not make that mistake again.
To buy wine in New York, you have to go to a liquor store. This has been a fact of life for generations an annoying shopping inconvenience in New York City and the suburbs, but a major hassle in many parts of upstate, where almost 600 towns have no liquor stores.
The problem is an antiquated law that, in true Albany fashion, exists to protect the interests of one powerful industry. Gov. David Paterson is the latest politician to try to fix the situation, supporting a bill to legalize supermarket wine. Mr. Paterson’s main interest is budgetary. He is eager for the tens of millions of dollars that additional franchise fees and taxes would raise.
A week or so back some of Willie Nelson’s band/crew got busted with moonshine and weed in Duplin County. Simultaneously, Willie canceled the show due to pain resulting from surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome.
Coincidence? I’m not sure. Maybe if Willie had access to his weed his hand wouldn’t have hurt and the folks in Duplin County would’ve gotten a show. I heard that a few days after the canceled show a group of archeologists found Willie buried under a thick sheet of ice just outside of Magnolia.
“Based on our ground-penetrating radar, we thought we’d found a wooly mammoth cub,” said John Johnson of Big Dig Archeology and Tax Service. “Our readings indicated the creature was about 5-foot, 9-inches in length and covered with hair.”
Johnson said when they reached Nelson he was in good spirits.
“Apparently the combination of moonshine and weed acted as a ‘human anti-freeze’ that allowed Nelson to survive several days under the ice,” Johnson said. “He didn’t even notice that he was trapped in the ice; he just thought his glaucoma was acting up.”
