If we stumble on to cook (weigh twice a year) we like our kitchen countertops forgiven of mishmash, gadgets and extras that can get in our way. I need my tommy-rot serviceable (firstly scoff processor, toaster, procedure books, spices, cooking utensils).
If I stash them away they can end up "far from the eyes, far from the nitty-gritty" and be ignored during cooking. Seeing them there gives me ideas of substance I can equip and that way I can cook attractive meals 3-4 times a week.
