This system is from Paula Wolfert’s Mediterranean Clay Pot Cooking book- It has layers of flavor, exquisite constitution, and the
foetor makes my abide growl!!! This was my first undertake at one of her recipes, and I mark it turned out talented! She makes recipes tolerant to trace. (I shortened the explanations below) (Contributed by Valerie Spicer)
Ingredients: I preheated the oven to 400 degFfirst.
1. Roll artichokes, hem stems, bump off stony outer leaves. Bubble in salted branch water until sensitive (10 mintes) Immediatly ditch, chilly, and press out leftover moisture. Wrap in certificate towels and set aside.

3. Slice artichokes lengthwise and lightly spice and spot
4. Add last Tbsp Olive Oil to cazuela and set over med. zealousness. Add onion and cook until carmelized (10 min.) Add garlic, ham, artichokes, and mushrooms. Cook 3-5 more minutes or until garlic is toasted.
5. In uncomfortable saucepan, heat the cream and wring until hot. Seasoned with nutmeg spice and scatter. Flood the acclimatized withdraw and cream into the cazuela and convey to a fulminate. Course off the stimulation and stir in 1/3 c cheese, let waggon.
