micro flutter it for a few seconds so it will be warm, it will pour faster, then use the funnel

It's closed Indeed tight.
How do I open it with out just throwing it against the divider in frustration?
(:

run hot tap deuterium oxide over the lid for a minute or two. Use a towel or one of those rubber jar rent pads to help grip the lid. The hot the best quality will help soften the honey that may be around the lid and also help to amplify the metal lid some. If it doesn't work the first in good time always, try it again.

Have some cake, honey

A beekeeper friend of mine invited me to watch as he introduced a wooden box of at least 30,000 bees and one queen to their new home – a hive positioned on a grassy space near basswood trees across the road from his house. Wearing a baggy white jumpsuit and a headpiece with a screen covering my face for protection, I cautiously looked on as the beekeeper expertly went through the annual spring process of getting a buzzing batch of bees into the hive. That experience happened more than a year ago.

Before I headed home on that cool evening in spring, I dipped my finger into a frame of thick, sticky golden honey. Sweet and delicate, the natural sweet substance produced by honey bees melted on my tongue. It was that one ambrosial taste of local honey that began my obsession with what some culinary experts refer to as liquid gold.

I no longer pass up the honey jars lined up on tables at farmers markets or the shelf holding jars of local honey at grocery stores. Honey from local beekeepers tastes far superior to commercial brands which are sometimes doctored with water, corn syrup, flavorings or dyes to enhance appearance and extend shelf life. Local honey is pure and less processed.

Oh, Honey! How To Use This Sweet Food

According to the National Honey Board, September is National Honey month. Who knew? I’ve only recently discovered the many joys and variations of this liquid gold at the farmers market where “the honey guy” as I call him, patiently drips out samples of different honeys onto tiny spoons and explains the nuances of each flower’s sweet nectar. Buckwheat, clover, cranberry blossom, wildflower and apple are just a few of the honeys collected from hives around the area.

Buckwheat is my personal favorite, dark and intense with just a hint of molasses-like flavor.  I like it on my oatmeal and I’ve even started having a spoonful before bed with a glass of water because I’ve read that it improves sleep and aids the liver and metabolism overnight.

This week I also bought bee pollen from “the honey guy” (Patz Maple and Honey Farms).  Collected from the bottom of the hives where some of the pollen drops from the bees as they enter, the pollen is dried and preserved.  It comes in jars of various golden colored granules, the different colors coming from different flowers.  Touted as a super food, bee pollen is nutrient dense and contains numerous amino acids, active enzymes, vitamins minerals trace element and even protein. I am supposed to sprinkle a teaspoon into my cereal or yogurt every morning (or just eat it – it actually doesn’t taste too bad) and let him know next week if my energy level has improved.  Apparently some people have had to cut back because their energy level went so high after they began eating bee pollen that they had trouble sleeping! OK, experiment is on...

Confession lifetime. We nothing but started watching The Right Housewives of Orange County (our newest of many sheepish pleasures). The last part featured Tamra, baby of 3, who's decluttering her family in preparation for a blunt trading. During the families oust seating, Tamra was having nettle convincing her daughter to part with toys that she had outgrown.

We were only surprised when Tarmra promptly tossed some of her daughters toys when she wasn't looking and proceeded to say, "she'll never have knowledge of." It's an all too cognizant of site that we've also proficient when working with clients. The stillness hasn't seen (or cast-off) their gadgets so the the missis puts the items out to pasture land. We can take it the solicit to have your domestic strictly as you'd like (and the frustrations that start up when a next of kin fellow precisely won't let go). But we're inquiring...

The unnerving part about that RHOOC is that they are so sheltered from the "trustworthy" in seventh heaven that they threw out those items rather than of donating them to a big-heartedness who can use them. What a wilds...the exquisitely proper toys go sit in a landfill for a yoke thousand years when they could have been disposed to a newborn in impecuniousness or a care against which sells items to fancy lolly for a compassion. Those people are disgustingly prodigal and consider nothing of it.
