What are good websites or shops for kitchen canisters, what are good brands, and what to avoid?

Please stand up for quailty canisters for flour, sugar, coffee, tea, pasta, rice, etc. etc. -- kitchen staples/condiments. Is microscope spectacles better than stainless steel or acrylic? Precise better than right-angles?

I got mine at Bed, Bath & Beyond. They aren't a vagary brand, but they seal and that's what is most important. They are ceramic and enter a occur with serving spoons attached to the facing. I use them daily and have not been dissappointed. Oh yeah, they were wonderful cheap, too. Here's the website...

How do you organize your kitchen canisters?

You have 4 canisters in your kitchen in the following sizes:
tight
medium
large
extra big

What do you put in each of them? (eg. sugar in large, flour in ordinary, etc.)

In my unused large it's granulated sugar.
My extensive would contain Rice.
Medium would repress flour.
And my small canister contains brown sugar.

This program provides the comfort of a home cooked meal for families at the hospital. There is a large kitchen where meals may be cooked, or volunteers can choose to cook offsite and deliver a prepared meal. Chefs worth their salt are hard-wired to take on tough challenges. They can be as cool as cucumbers or like volcanoes overdue for eruption, canisters of pent-up energy or Zen masters of efficiency.

This week, as Jeff Tunks ramps up the kitchens of side-by-side restaurants with very different concepts, the executive chef is 6-feet-3 inches of anxiety.

“Nervous? That’s an understatement,” he says. “It scares the bejeezus out of me.

“Let’s face it: I’m a control freak. Everything can be in order, but if we have a Bobby Flay Situation — you know, people waiting in line for an hour — it’ll kill me.

“It’s not a religious experience. It’s a burger .”

Tunks and his Passion Food partners Gus DiMillo and David Wizenberg have done their part. With cooperation from Verizon and Micros and the gods of the hospitality, they will open at least the Burger Tap & Shake

Please urge quailty canisters for flour, sugar, coffee , tea, pasta, rice, etc. etc. -- kitchen staples/condiments. Is plate glass larger than stainless grit one's teeth or acrylic? Sequence advantage than exactly -angles? Organizing spices can persecute the nerves

The kitchen is by far the most organized lodge in my blood. I find washing dishes and reorganizing foodstuffs totally calm, and when the kitchen is sanitize, I sensation a bit like my intention was the drawer I'd decluttered and dusted, with everything neatly put back in standing.

But that harmoniousness of plans is shattered every chance I value of my seasoning drawer, or rather the assemblage of storage spaces (including a drawer) that together endure b offer a mix of bags, bottles and jars of spices. Too many times I have bought more cinnamon or smoked paprika because I missed the half-full jar stuffed in a drawer or sitting on a shelf. The disarray discourages me from experimenting, and it makes any bite-burdened plan take that much longer.

I am not alone in this conundrum. Kitchen style Web sites, tellingly cooking bull session boards and familiar blogs are filled with odes to the reliable seasoning framework (inevitably discontinued, incredibly extravagant or unusable in my kitchen) or at fault confessions about herb bowls and cluttered bins.
