how do i paint ceramic kitchen canisters they're white antique finish would be nice?

i have some window-pane paints small ones
how do i fulfil an antique look
kind of brown /goldish color?
or a honest site w/ step by step
or ideas stencils????

Any heyday I paint something glass I start out with the place on automobile primer (that red looking obliging)...that makes the paint attach tight. I would put the white on first and then put a yellow/brown covering over the top and spray with poly...of course, this will have to be carefully wiped down to be cleaned...not put in grade and washed....believe it or not, you can distribute plastic with this and make it hold decorate make merry too..I have had great success with this primer and painting fundamentals!!!! It is amazing! I purchased 2 Chinese "lions" made of the gloomy plastic stuff to go at my front door...I sprayed them with the primer and painted them to look like Cinnabar...trimmed out to with "gold" and "screw" and then sprayed them over with some poly...my goodness...the clout is amazing!!!!

Where can I find canisters like this? It can be from an online hold or someplace like Macy's, Williams and Sonoma, etc... I've checked a few websites but they don't seem to have what I'm looking for. What stores might have them?
