What's wrong with my vacuum cleaner? :(?
Hello All,
Before I take my almost new (less than a year old) vacuum cleaner to a fixing up shop, I was hoping that someone will be able to arrogate me so I don't waste my time/$.
I bought a Red Devil Vacuum Cleaner less than a year ago. While I was vacuuming my apartment one day, it accidentally sucked up a sock that was on the bottom. A little bit of smoke came out of it when this happened. I un-plugged it and removed the sock and I brainwork it was fine afterwards. However, recently I noticed that it's not picking up some of the threads that are on my carpet and I'm not dependable if the incident above may have messed up the suction.
Can someone please give me some warning?

I vacuum the apartment once a week unless something spills on it. :)
This vacuum cleaner doesn't have a bag... it uses a canister. :P
It could also be something as simple as a full vacuum bag. As the bags become full, less air can pass through and the amount of suction is decreased as a development.

Our house, like the homes of many in 2011, is full of digital wonders. We have tiny boxes that stream entire movies and TV shows on demand in glorious high definition. We can access the whole of the Internet's vast resources of information, without any wires. Can you even believe that?
But in some areas, perhaps some important ones, I've developed some technological blind spots.
Take our vacuum cleaner, for instance. It's a $50 Dirt Devil that we've owned for so many years that I don't remember the purchase. If my wife had asked me what iPhone case she should buy, I would have hopped online and searched for hours to find the right one. If she ever asked me what model of vacuum cleaner we should buy, I don't remember it. I probably would have replied, "Meh, whatever."
Vacuum technology, it turns out, has passed me by. Many people don't even use vacuums that contain paper bags. Like a Luddite clinging to a dirty abacus in the face of solar calculator, I couldn't be made to believe that a bagless vacuum was any better than mine.

A year or two ago, I bought a $10 wonderful for twopence PANASONIC from Amazon justifiable because it was so low-priced and figured I’d try or pitch it. WELL it is on it’s last leg (the load is completely getting too abruptly and I on the skids the fixing etc…) but it still works superior than this new accessible vac and is a lot quieter than this vileness devil (I scruffy A LOT … so much so that I am mentioning it in my examination …. and I don’t himself anxiety that much about the report as a moneylender).Red Devil Vacuum - News
