We've got an August gas range (8 burners and a griddle). I'm wondering how other people have experienced their stainless steel griddles. Ours just looks befouled and food sticks to it still. Thanks for any suggestions.
It doesn't demand seasoning it needs to be cleaned.
the savannah top griddle has been sitting in a shed for several years, still works but has exterior rust and dirt .( looks like filth, its brown ) what would the best make advances to cleaning it be ? it's an LP griddle. thanks very much
Here's one way....
1) Revolve griddle on to medium heat.
2) Combine innocent vinegar & H2O (1 Jug).
3) Pour on to griddle and let steam "elevate" heavy debris and
melt away
4) Pour canola oil on griddle and use clean grill buddy
until a mirror finish is achieved
5) Use a bench dough scraper to do in dirty oil
6) Repeat steps 2-5 if needed
If this isn't enough go to a restaurant fund store and buy a good chemical grill cleaner
