'Real Housewives' Reunion Part I: Back to the Playground?
01.01.70
Awkward. Tense. Heartbreaking. These are the words we’ve consistently used to describe Season 3 of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” After a season that, in the words of Bravo host Andy Cohen, “tested the bonds of family and friendship,” it is no surprise that the reunion show was no different.
Last week, audiences watched as the friendship between Jacqueline Laurita, Caroline Manzo and Teresa Giudice finally crumbled after two seasons of hints and much off-camera buzz about such a split. In the months since filming ceased, it appears the relationship has soured so badly that Laurita refused to come to the filming of the reunion.
“We had an incident last night while filming [Season 4],” Manzo said. “She said I am so betrayed I am so hurt, she just felt that she couldn’t come here today and look at Teresa.”
The ladies insisted that they could not discuss it further, as that was “Season 4 stuff,” but Jacqueline’s Twitter and independent blogs imply that she was upset over fellow housewife Melissa Gorga being accused of being a stripper by people allegedly planted by Giudice. Gorga and Giudice are sisters-in-law who live in Montville Township, where parts of the show are filmed.

"There's dogs that need homes, and there's people that need love so why not try to pair them up (the) best I can by using my platform," Staub said.
