PENNSVILLE TWP. — The Pennsville Memorial High School cheerleaders will be featured in the Walt Disney Christmas Day Parade airing on Sunday morning.
The high school cheerleaders performed in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., in early December for the taping of the Walt Disney Christmas Day Parade last month.
The parade will air on Christmas Day morning on the ABC network from 10 a.m. to noon in the Philadelphia market.
For senior cheerleader Alana Hutchinson, the trip brought a lot of meaning to her last year.

Services providers explored the feasibility of opening an emergency shelter for victims of elder abuse or neglect.
The idea for the specialized shelter grew out of concerns that vulnerable senior citizens often were further victimized when placed in traditional homeless shelters or in inexpensive motels used by Adult Protective Services.
A vacant home once used for juvenile delinquents and unwed mothers was remodeled as a shelter for senior adults. Later, its role was expanded to help seniors who became homeless from catastrophic medical conditions such as a stroke, cancer, chronic pulmonary disease, heart disease, diabetes or mental illness if persons didn't pose a threat to themselves or others.
Residents normally stay from 10 to 30 days, depending upon their circumstances. But lengths of stay and ages served are variable.
James L. Robinson , 86, and his wife Iola, 81, stayed at the emergency shelter for more than seven weeks in 2003 after a stove malfunction caused a fire that damaged their northeast Oklahoma City home.
