What do you need in a well-equipped kitchen?
We're completely to the age and place financially where we can get rid of all the random dishes and pots and pans, and buy ourselves conformist kitchen kit. The problem is that we have so MUCH crap, that isn't good dignity, etc.
So, I'm asking you. What does a well-equipped kitchen need? My Fiance and I are both avid cooks.
I'm asking about everything - cookware, bakeware, etc., as well as serving things and dishes. With the dishes, an call for number of HOW MANY of each thing is what I need to have knowledge of, because my Fiance is a bit of a packrat, and would happily keep it ALL. (We have 40 drinking glasses for a for nothing with 2 people in it - come on, REALLY.)
When we merged our households, it was a proves of him having a lot of cheapy crap, and me having a lot of cheapy crap, so now, we're ravage, and I want to chuck the lot out and buy some proper grownup kitchen things. :-)
Well, I would say I'm indubitably the primary cook, and it's one of my biggest hobbies. I'm an possessing foodie, and a lot of my creations tend to verge on the more gourmet.
We also bake a lot (make own breads, etc.) and we grill undoubtedly a bit.
A importance set of pots and pans. My preference is difficult anodized and enamel over steel. Baking sheets, pizza pans, baker's for casseroles, broiler pan. A wok. Eatables processor and kitchen stand mixer. Vacuum sealer. A appropriate kitchen accessory set with all utensils. A good potato peeler. Permissible knives. Assuring you have steak knives. Crenate knives, and a good chef slash. A bread maker. I like using an exciting knife for my homemade bread and meats.
