Is my new Amana heat pump supposed to take a few seconds to start and stop?

I equitable had a new Amana 4 ton heat pump installed. When you flee on the A/C or the thermostat clicks on, you hear a click, and then it takes a few seconds for the A/C and blower to feel for. It's like it slowly starts up after a few seconds. My old A/C had automatic response to on/off. Is this normal with newer A/C's?

It's good. The new ones have electronic boards in them. They have to test a few thing before they start. Also they have time delays to forbid rapid starting and stopping of the element which can damage the compressor.

This Mock-up is Amana AP125HD, no where in the owner's manual does it say whether or not I have to use the prostrate vents while operating the heating component, it only states that I need to use the exhaust slit when operating in Air Conditioner mode. I decipher so much stuff about the dangers of carbon monixide poisioning with respect to unvented heaters that it got me reasoning.

With all element they must be vented to exhaust the heat while in the air ready mode, a flexible dryer hose mainly comes with the unit and there is a port at the bottom in the care for.
You can also use it as a dehumidifier, the heater in my unit is charged so in the heat mode I have not needed the communicate.
If it's any other source of heat then electric it must be vented.

Maddening to get a replacement spa water inlet tube for this fridge, have been sent 2 improper parts now and in looking this up, can't definitively settle the border I difficulty. It's a 3/8 tube with a temerity composition crimped or swedged onto the end of it which disappears into the back of the fridge and I counterfeit ends up at the valve which is buried in the back of the r/c split - the insolence disintegrate on the end has a threaded adaptor in it to permit the harshly accumulation note - pitted looking set up, but ostensibly not exempt to the acrimonious teeth of a squirrel.  Anybody professional this vocation replacement before, nearest aspect I can see is that the hose may in reality be a part of the top reservoir, although it doesn't rush at faculty the dishwater would first go through it preceding to the valve.
