What is the best microhood with a CFM > 300 ?
Most microwaves with hoods we have seen at Sears, First-class Buy etc stop at 300 CFM. We do a lot of oil based cooking and the present-day GE microwave with a 300 CFM fan just doesn't cut it. Can someone subscribe to a microwave with a higher CFM rating for its hood? We would like to circumvent going to a pure hood with a height CFM rating (500+ would be good) as that would herald buying an additional microwave.
There is undeniably nothing available in a microhood that is above about 320. Any microhood is going to measure poorly in that area, and there is nothing you can do about it, at least that I know about.
Your surrogate is going to have to be the use of either a hood/fan combo or a downdraft. Both would accomodate whatever you required.
