Panasonic microwave oven(NN-N740) with inverter technology for 110V,60Hz. Will it work on 110V,50Hz?

To the tucker of my knowledge all so called inverter tech. (or military deal in) appliances will be marked on their product sobriquet if they can be used on both 50/60 Hz. Many of the military quintessence have a switch that would switch them between 240/50 and 120/60 for unconnected use. If it is not marked for use on 50Hz you do stand a chance of blazing it up. This is most of a problem with any unit having a power transformer in it's destine as the 50Hz windings can get quite hot on 60Hz and short out.

Microwave is turning itself off?

I have a Panasonic Inverter Microwave, NN-S953WF facsimile.
It is turning itself off after running for approximately 23 to 26 seconds. Yes, I did interval it, tried it four times and this is what continued to take place.
Anyone have any ideas of what the problem might be, or is it time for a new microwave?

Speculation I should have clarified the time issue. Put comestibles in microwave, set the time for 8 minutes and 30 seconds (cooking calliflower) and after 26 seconds, off it went. Tried again and again, same upshot.

Could be several things. May be a timer malfunction. Could be a stew in the circuit board. If it's a stand alone module (not built in) then it might be wise just to scrap the bullet and get a new one.

Curious. You say it does this regardless of the even so you set on the timer, right????

      Do not buy this microwave. I am a tremendously sensitive consumers who do a lot of delving before buying this microwave. I was replacing a Kenmore microwave that lasted from about 9 years and I was very glad with only stopped working one day. This microwave oven is horrendous.
