GE Spacemaker XL1800 Microwave problem - please help!!?

The lights and turntable no longer exertion. Also the hum when the microwave is running is noticeably different. Sometimes it will still earnestness, but a couple of times it stopped all-together. Any ideas?? Thanks.
Perhaps the power supply. You might want to try this troubleshooting site. I have acclimated to them several times and found their wizard quite believable...

They also sell parts but seem to be to be a bit costly. Especially for shipping of small parts.

i have a ge xl1800 spacemaker microwave,it just stopped heating. what do you think the problem is ?

it has a manyfactured time of jan. 2005
The magnetron emitter tube has died. Costco has microwaves for $49.00.

Our 2002 GE Spacemaker XL1800 has had no problems until this morning. It had a louder than expected check out/humming like as it was tournament... and the rations didn't get worked up at all (no heating done). There was facetious pong (reminded me of burnt rubber?). I have been doing delve into... looks like it could be the magnatron? Concede? Other ideas? My placate and I have no face or awareness of repairing anything.... is this something a "lay-myself" could improvement with parts and directions? Or is a repairman essential? Do I requisite to have ge rise here or can we take it somewhere? I deliver assign to how spendy the labor charges are and we lawful cant give that straighten out now!
